Jim Glover announces," I'm thrilled to have been invited to participate in an exhibition called "Representing the West" at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center in Pueblo, Colorado.  The annual exhibit runs from September 18 through October 24, 2009, and will feature some "big name" Western painters.  I was specifically asked to show my nature/wildlife images, mostly acrylics, and will have 5 pieces included.  Here is one that I just finished for inclusion, "Kestralglyphs: A Bird In the Hand," an 18" x 24" acrylic on panel.  The painting focuses on a falcon, a Kestral, in the overhang of a Southwestern cliff, where petroglyphs remain the only evidence of Anasazi Indian occupation 1000 years ago.  It is for sale, but promised to the exhibit, so you can talk to us about it
.
